Battered Bull is one of only a few yachts in the world which carries a recompression chamber and lock. These being a great comfort when diving in very remote places. According to statistics a diver will experience Decompression Sickness in every 1500 dives so no matter how well prepared one is for a dive, something might go wrong. Always be prepared for the worse case scenario.

At this moment we have nine able operators. They are trained to quickly identify a person with DCS, assess and classify the type of DCS in minutes. They can set up the decompression chamber and lock in less than 6 minutes from a stow away position.

When dive operations are in progress the chamber remains in a fully functional position. Time is critical with DCS.
